    Hi!
I’m writing because I’m so frustrated with the new profile format for facebook. I accidentally clicked on it trying to post on one of my friend’s wall. Total mistake! It is really confusing and a little too extra for me, and I really miss my status being the first thing you see when you visit friends’ pages. I tried deactivating and reactivating my account. Is there Any way possible I can go back to the original format at all? =( Please help!

    frannie

Why can’t we just send the COWARDS an email like we can everyone else?

Ohhh, I know it’s frustrating. 🙁 Basically, Facebook have about 2,000+ staff to manage close to 600 million members. Perhaps they need to add to their customer service department and open up a toll-free call center too? Or at least a better ticketing system. I find it really challenging to find anything in the Help Center and typically just go to Google to look it up on Facebook!

So sorry to hear of your plight. I’m guessing these emails come to you inside of Facebook? You need to click the Report button next to any message that comes in. Otherwise, I would use one of the forms here for reporting harassment.

I used the report button to report someone who was attacking me to the point of Libel and can’t find any contact to find out about the status of the reporting. No contact options or further explanation of that process. I didn’t see, or maybe missed any links on your page to deal with “reporting abuse” Any suggestions?

I accidently reported it hacked when it wasn’t. My acct is suspended, how do i reactivate it? It asks for a security code, but when I request to send it to my email it does not get delivered. (but password verification from FB does get delivered). How do i reactivate my account? thanks in advance.

Hm, sorry can’t be of much further help. You’ll need to fill out one of the forms here – the closest one to your situation.

Aha, yes there is — go to Account > Privacy Settings > Connecting on Facebook (very top section): click link for View Settings > See Your Friend List (4th one down): select Customize from the dropdown menu > select Only Me > Save Setting.

Thanks for the help. Mine was disabled without warning & I don’t believe I EVER did anything that would be considered a violation. I am just a hardworking 42 year old mom. It was very frustrating to have it working one minute and not the next without so much as a warning from facebook…

I think there is a surge of erroneous deactivated accounts right now – it’s purely an error. Hang in there!!
