This Week’s Top 3 Articles

1. How Facebook Could Force Brands to Pivot to Video via

2. Facebook’s Adding New Messenger Tags to Boost the Utility of Business Interactions via

Facebook Messenger continues to iterate positively for business use, providing a simple and effective way to communicate with your customers. “Conversational commerce” is the next frontier for businesses, particularly B2C and retailers. Facebook wants consumers to build more trust with their financial transactions inside Messenger. New tags include Payment Update and Personal Finance Update. Hm! Messenger (and WhatsApp) will eventually be all-in-one apps much like China’s WeChat.

3. The Two Winning Email Designs That Are Taking Over Your Inbox via

Neato! I loved reading this post — it’s always helpful to see what other companies are doing out there with effective email. Email is an area that also evolves regularly, but it’s not as easy to follow unless you happen to subscribe to (and study) a bunch of marketers! Learn when it’s best to use one over the other and see examples of what works best in what situation and why.

That’s all for this week’s issue of The Social Scoop. I hope you have an amazing rest of your week and I look forward to connecting again very soon.
