The Ultimate Guide to Facebook Engagement, Social Media Strategy, & More: The Social Scoop 1/6/17

Woohoo! Happy New Year! First, CONGRATS to our four lucky contest winners! I recently ran this fun contest on my Facebook Page, sponsored by Animoto, the fab video creation tool. These 3 folks each receive an Animoto Hoodie:

And, our Grand Prize Winner receives six months membership in my Inner Circle + a $100 Amazon certificate + a custom Facebook Page Makeover:

Well done to all. And a great big THANK YOU to everyone who entered — I wish I could give every entrant a special prize! Stay tuned for more contests, free classes and webinars… coming soon!

Well, I hope your 2017 is off to a lovely start — whether you’re full speed ahead on your Q1 goals, or you’re easing into the year at a nice relaxing pace… or somewhere in-between, like me!

I had all grand intentions to blast into the year with fully mapped out goals, plans, vision, etc. However, I gave myself permission to take one more week to really, deliberately craft out my ideal year! 2016 was amazing on many levels for me – both personally and professionally. (My heart kept going out to friends I’d see on Facebook sharing how they couldn’t wait for 2016 to be over.)

Well, as you may know, numerologically, 2017 is a “1” year, which means “New Beginnings.” As a “9” year, 2016 was all about completions. So, it feels good for many people around the world to have this fresh start. Let’s intend that we all help elevate the consciousness of the planet by our choices this year.

In fact, I posted this fabulous quote on Facebook and Instagram the other day:

“The chief beauty about time is that you cannot waste it in advance. The next year, the next day, the next hour are lying ready for you, as perfect, as unspoiled, as if you had never wasted or misapplied a single moment in all your life. You can turn over a new leaf every hour if you choose.” —Arnold Bennet
